Los hijos del volcán
Soler, Jordi (1963- )
Tikú, the son of the foreman of the La Portuguesa coffee plantation, has felt an unknown and brutal force within him since he was a child that marks his entire life. He is the voice from within, which at times he assumes as his own and whose mandates of death and destruction are impossible to ignore. The jungle, which seems to want to engulf everything that surrounds it, marks a decivilizing destiny for Tikú: after first abandoning La Portuguesa and then his job as a teacher, far from his family and only accompanied by a coyote and the saints who protect the four directions of the mountain, he gets closer and closer to the ancient and mysterious tribe that populates the most secret areas of that wild and hostile territory: the children of the volcano.
