When Isabel Gallagher's body turns up with cuts and stab wounds all over her body, Lottie Parker takes over the investigation. It seems like a crime of passion and the first suspect is Jack, Isabel's husband, but that same day another woman, Joyce Breslin, is reported missing. And worst of all, a few hours later, someone kidnaps Joyce's son Evan from the nursery.
