Los Luminarios

Winnie's greatest wish is to join the luminaries, an ancient order that protects all of humanity from the monsters and nightmares that emerge from the Hemlock Falls forest each night. Upon turning sixteen, Winnie will submit to the deadly trials to become a luminary. She will thus be able to prove that she is loyal and restore her family's good name, which was put into question when it was discovered that her father was a traitor who practiced witchcraft. And to survive the tests, Winnie enlists the help of Jay, who was once her best friend and is now one of the most promising monster hunters in Hemlock Falls. Together they will discover that there is a danger lurking in the Hemlock Falls forest for which no one is prepared.
