Los últimos días de Clayton and Co.
Solar, Francisca
At the end of the 19th century, in the now-disappeared town of Atlas, the young Abigail Clayton was recognized for her curious talent for photographing the dead. An ability that guarded a terrifying secret: the protagonists of her images whispered secrets to her about the living. People from all over the country traveled to meet "medium Clayton"; she received peasants and diplomats, she helped in legal and police cases, until an accusation of insanity and a lurid homicide ended her short career. "Witch, mad, murderer", they say that she was locked up for more than a decade in the basement of a sanatorium before tuberculosis and oblivion killed her. They say a lot of things about her. However, the only thing clear is that the true story of those she portrayed was hidden in the whisper of the ghosts or behind the click of one of her photos.
