Medio siglo con Borges

This collection of articles, lectures, reviews and notes testifies to more than half a century of readings by an author who has been an inexhaustible source of intellectual pleasure for me. Many times I have reread it and, unlike what happens to other writers who marked me, I was never disappointed; On the contrary, each new reading renews my enthusiasm and happiness, revealing to me new secrets and subtleties of that Borgean world so unusual in its themes and so diaphanous and elegant in its expression. I always read Borges not only with the exaltation that a great writer arouses; also, with an indefinable nostalgia and the feeling that something of that dazzling universe out of his imagination and his prose will always be denied me, no matter how much I admire him and enjoy him.
