Platón

Drafted around 388 BC, ten years after the death of Socrates, the Meno is Plato's awareness that his philosophical concerns transcended the limits in which Socrates thought and lived. This work marks precisely the point of this crisis, because if, on the one hand, the intention of the author continues to be the rehabilitation of the figure of the teacher, on the other, the appearance of the first Pythagorean elements, the pre-existence of souls and the theory memory (anamnesis) cast doubt on the historical fidelity of the protagonist of the dialogue.
