Imagine a place where the ambition of man has spawned monsters. That is Adrax, an artificial island filled with individuals who are above the law. And also true monsters: superhuman beings that have been created for an unknown purpose. Summer is one of those beings. And, of course, social relations are not easy for someone capable of burning things when she loses her temper. She knows it, and that's why she protects at all costs the only place where she feels she fits: the group of mercenaries to which she belongs. Everything would go more or less well if Black Lightning, the leader of the competition, was not determined to remind him that he is a monster that his companions will end up betraying. However, the task of catching a mysterious murderer will cause Summer to face a terrible past and end up fearing that, in reality, her worst enemy was right.
