Myrddin

Myrddin is a version of the Arthurian cycle like never seen before. Furthermore, it is a beautifully drawn graphic novel aimed at lovers of fantasy literature, myths and science fiction. It combines history, legend, technology and time travel to question the essence of the human being against a twilight and fantastic background. The story of the rise and fall of Camelot has been told and recounted on many occasions by writers, filmmakers, playwrights and even choreographers. For King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table have been wearying the battlefields of human imagination for more than nine centuries since, in the 12th century, the clergyman Geoffrey of Monmouth extracted a misty figure from Welsh folklore and converted it into a legendary hero. The magician Merlin played a key role in creating that myth. He is the western sorcerer par excellence and his fame exceeds that of Harry Potter himself. Now, the duo formed by the screenwriter Jorge García and the cartoonist Gustavo Rico -responsables de Los teeth de la eternidad- looks at their legend from an unprecedented perspective, using the resources of fantasy, psychedelia and science fiction to galvanize her figure and revive it in the pages of Myrddin.
