Escraches in clinics, conscientious objection in the hospital, pro-life demonstrations... In the 21st century, reproductive rights are more threatened than ever. Abortion ignites social and political debate like no other issue, but many women continue to live this experience in silence and solitude. Neither permission nor forgiveness is the story of all of them to end the stigma and taboo around an individual experience that transcends the collective. Our grandmothers had illegal abortions, our mothers fought for legality and we continue to fight the silence.
