No todos los cíclopes nacen ciegos

XIV Premio Tristana, 2022

Linares, Sol

A baby cyclops disappears from the Pathology Museum of the University Hospital of Cabo Alto, a missing piece in the puzzle of an entire clan. From that moment on, the plot of this novel navigates between science and myth. From a novel and very honest perspective, the protagonist, Flora Mazzarri, a genetic engineer, tells us her story through brief glimpses of her life. To do so, she takes a trip to the island of the Cyclops, Italy, where she finishes completing her familiar landscape.
