Noche y niebla en los campos nazis
historias heroicas de españolas que sobrevivieron al horror
Álvarez, Mónica G.
Among the thousands of prisoners who suffered humiliations and atrocities during their stay in the concentration camps of the Third Reich, was a group of Spanish women who came to Ravensbrück, Auschwitz or Bergen-Belsen raising their fists in search of freedom. They were driven by their belief in democracy, social justice, and equality. Far from being daunted by the torture suffered by the Nazis, they rebelled to fight against oppression and totalitarianism and, once free, the majority dedicated a large part of their lives to raising their voices so that no one would forget the tragedy that the Holocaust caused.
