"Not For You. Pearl Jam, living in the present" is the first complete biography of one of the most important bands of recent decades, which emerged in Seattle in the 90s. Through resilience, integrity and sheer force of will, the Seattle quintet has been there with their voices at key moments in recent American history - from Operation Desert Storm to defending the right to choose women; from "Jeremy" to the Columbine massacre; from anti-racist activism to Black Live Matters; from the confrontation with Ticketmaster to the appearance of Trump. Ronen Givony, a fan without palliatives or complexes, offers much more than a critical study or a musical biography to use; "Not For You.
