Ocurrió a orillas del río

In the middle of the summer solstice, the young teacher Annie Raft walks, exhausted, through the forests of northern Sweden with her young daughter. Dan, Annie's boyfriend, was supposed to have picked her up at the bus stop in the village of Svartvattnet. Maybe Annie can find the house, away from town, where they are going to start a new life. In her exhausting wandering, suddenly, in a tent planted on the banks of a river, she discovers two savagely murdered people. Eighteen years later, the crime remains unsolved; until Annie Raft, who stayed to live in the area, observes a scene that awakens very vivid memories in her. Silence and lies, or rather half-truths, have kept Svartvattnet's secrets hidden for far too long.
