Social networks and the Internet have brought about enormous changes in our society, in the way we relate to each other and project ourselves in it. The protagonist of this novel manages the online reputation of politicians and businessmen and is married to Iratxe, a successful singer who graduated from the OT academy. However, there is something undefined that hinders her happiness. One day, on his wife's Twitter profile, someone leaves a comment containing a strange piece of code. This is how Max appears in his life, a biologist fascinated with the theory of the Great Singularity, a man suffering from a strange disease that prevents him from blinking, a man condemned, therefore, to see continuously. Max acts as a prophet of a world to come. Hand in hand with him, the protagonist accesses a new vision of reality where bodies are obsolete and sex is an unsatisfactory substitute for the touch of devices, for the exchange of information. Can the acceleration of the ego through networks bring hitherto unprecedented pleasure and, therefore, a mutation of the libido? To what extent can our virtual avatars replace us in the affection of others, including our partner? Omega poses this and other questions, pressing dilemmas that have a lot to do with the times in which we live.
