Perros que duermen
Madrid, Juan
Juan Delforo, journalist and writer, son of Republican parents and with a past of militancy in the anti-fascist struggle, goes to a villa in El Viso to collect the legacy of a man he does not know and who has just died. It is about Dimas Prado, a commissioner, an old Falangist, who was related in the past with Delforo's parents and who in 1938 was commissioned to investigate the horrifying murder of a very young prostitute at the hands of a hierarch of the national side. But why did the old commissioner want Delforo to inherit the story from him? "Sleeping Dogs" is a novel of intrigue that takes us back to the dark times of war and the post-civil war, and its echoes in the construction of our present.
