Peru is undoubtedly one of the most attractive and varied tourist destinations in the world. The famous ruins of the Inca sanctuary of Macchu Picchu, accessible through the Sacred Valley from the exciting city of Cuzco, are considered one of the famous "wonders of the world." But Peru is, above all, diversity. A good part of the country is occupied by the Amazon jungle, with several centers of attraction for tourists: the northern area with the peculiar city of Iquitos as its center, and the southern jungle, which will be accessed from Puerto Maldonado. The list of must-see historical cities is as large as that of archaeological sites scattered throughout the Peruvian territory. The beautiful Arequipa stands out, in whose surroundings the Colca canyon, the unique Ayacucho in the Central Sierra, the historic Cajamarca, in the Sierra Norte... And of course, in Peru you can also go to the beach: kilometers and kilometers of coast , with Trujillo on the north coast and the Paracas National Park or the Nazca lines on the south coast as the main attractions. As if this were not enough, the visitor is also offered the possibility of contemplating the Andes in all its splendor, particularly in the Huascarán National Park, accessible from Huaraz, in the Callejón de Huaylas. For all these reasons, Peru is one of the most complete and recommended destinations in South America.
