On the Sidewalk of the Wind is the first book by Marisa Calero, professor of linguistics and poet. The poems x-ray some everyday situations, always with a rhythmic game where thought fits, between heptasyllables and hendecasyllables. She skilfully inserts us into her music with endings that link ways of feeling in a certain philosophical way. A whole lesson in ethics from the poetic gaze of the observant woman who, from her own feeling, adds a fine layer of irony, awakening complicity, something very difficult in poetry.
