Presoners

Work directed by Carles Alberola and produced by Albena for a very specific setting: the old prison of Sant Miquel dels Reis. Based on historical testimonies, six current Valencian authors have invented six different monologues, each of which imagines a letter that a prisoner writes to his family or, simply, for his privacy. The first monologue corresponds to a man who awaits his execution the next day, while in the last a journalist celebrates, from prison, Franco's death.
