People think that in Andalusia we live like happy lizards in the sun. But the truth is that the sun, like everything else, is a privilege. When my grandparents moved to the city from the country, the only thing they could afford was a second floor with a view of other floors. When my parents got married, the only thing they could afford was to live with my grandparents. In a cold hole, in a working-class neighborhood where behind every corner there is a gust of air waiting for passers-by: Booh! In January 2016 there was a 6.3 magnitude earthquake, and I was certain that if it had been stronger we would all have died. I woke up with the movement of the bed, it was like a revelation: I had to write my book. But I did not.
