Pupis

Pupis

Monreal, Violeta

The Pupis collection has been created for the age group of the first readers, raising stories of adventure and friendship. The protagonists of each story are puppy dogs, except in two of the books in which the protagonists are a kitten and a partridge chick. Fun adventures will happen to the characters in the collection as they create, little by little, a gang and a refuge, a safe haven, where they will live in harmony, peace and freedom. The theme of the collection addresses problems that, due to their complexity, are not always easy to deal with, but that occur in our daily lives. That is why animal puppies have been chosen as protagonists since most boys and girls feel immediate empathy for pets. Thus, the puppies of the dogs, in addition to the cat and the partridge, are the protagonists of the stories that reflect in a casual but profound way the first childhood experiences: bullying, rejection, paternal tyranny, abandonment...
