Retorno de las estrellas

Lem, Stanislaw

When Hall Bregg returns to Earth after a risky ten-year expedition in a distant galaxy, he encounters a planet on which, by virtue of the Einsteinian time contraction, one hundred and twenty-seven years have passed. Bregg is therefore faced with the difficult challenge of integrating into a society different from the one he knew, in which, throughout all those years, there have been substantial variations in the human species, as well as in ideas and behaviors, that make it a living anachronism.
