Roma traicionada
Octavio, Marco Antonio y la destrucción de la República
Negrete, Javier
On the Ides of March 44 BC, Julius Caesar was assassinated. His death, marked by the eruption of a volcano and the appearance of a comet, gave rise to the most turbulent and at the same time decisive period in the history of Rome. Wars, revolutionary changes and great betrayals followed one another in it. Two antagonistic characters, Octavio and Marco Antonio, would fight to conquer absolute power in the transition from republican to imperial Rome. Their fight would reach its climax in Accio, one of the most momentous battles of all time. After the great success of victorious Rome and undefeated Rome, Javier Negrete once again immerses himself fully in the history of the Roman people and, above all, of the generals and soldiers who had to defend the Republic and who, however, ended up destroying it.
