Sensación térmica

Lucia, a young Mexican woman, has left a violent home behind to move to a mouse-infested apartment in New York's East Village. There she meets Juliana, a girl from Colombia who dazzles her with her Caribbean joy and with whom she shares her amazement and enthusiasm for the new city. But when Juliana begins a stormy relationship with a teacher twenty years her senior, Lucía recalls the mistreatment that has haunted her since her childhood and that she will recognize in the progressive transformation of her friend. Thermal sensation tells us about female friendship and intimate violence, that which hides disguised as love and that explodes behind closed doors in any house. A violence that creeps and lurks in the lyrics of the songs, in the legends and in the children's stories.
