Sin aditivos

A line that is nothing more than a wall of adjectives, those that do not appear anywhere in this novel that C. J. Nieto has concocted with the pulse of the masters of the genre and that will fascinate us. At the end of July, in Gran Canaria, on the verge of vacation and with the heat stalking bodies and minds, the sole objective of the lawyer who is the protagonist of this novel, with as much ability to carry out his cases as few scruples to please his clients, is being able to enjoy a few days of tranquility with her husband and daughter. But neither the island nor her work will give him truce. The island, because some of the corpses that she frequently receives on her shores have to do -more than it seems- with his past, his family and those goings-on that he is most ashamed of. And his work, because a case that involves his closest friends, and that he didn't even want to accept, will end up involving him in a story of violence, betrayal, corruption and ambition that gradually takes him out of the security he had found across the line...
