Days before she died, Nel Abbott called her sister. Jules didn't pick up the phone and ignored her request for help. Now Nel is dead. They say he has committed suicide. And Jules has had to go back to a place she thought she had run away from forever and take care of the teenage daughter her sister has orphaned. But Jules is scared. Lots of fear. Fear of the memories she has had buried all this time, of the Casa del Molí and of a certainty: Nel would never have thrown herself into the void.
