From the reception of the email, a range of comings and goings opens up, of trips to Palermo, the city where the will is deposited, of deceit, manipulation, fraud and vileness, with a Pau rescued from nostalgia, physical again, as an assistant to the maelstrom in which Sonia is trapped.
