Te llevo bajo la piel
XII Premio Vergara de Novela Romántica
Urcelay, Belén
Hollywood, 1957. Maggie McEvers is going through a bad time: her acting career is stagnant, she doesn't quite fit in with the hedonistic environment of the stars and, to make matters worse, she keeps meeting her ex-husband, the charismatic actor Bryson Mallory. Her agent, worried about the image of a bitter and lonely woman that she projects, proposes to her as a publicity stunt to take advantage of a tour of England and Scotland to pretend to the world a reconciliation with Bryson. Maggie ends up accepting the proposal and they both embark on a journey that takes them much further than they imagine. From the parties of the golden age of cinema to the untamed landscapes of the Scottish Highlands, Maggie and Bryson will pretend to be a couple again. So they will fight, they will attract each other, they will argue and seduce each other again and, perhaps, they will even learn that true love has nothing to do with the one in the movies.
