Textos para la historia antigua de Egipto
Serrano Delgado, José Miguel
This book is intended to be an approach to the history, institutions and mentality of Pharaonic Egypt from the perspective of texts and written sources in general. It offers a chronological journey that starts from the beginning of the pharaonic state to its end at the hands of the Persians, Greeks and Romans. It dedicates specific sections to society, the economy, religion and culture, with the aim of bringing the reader closer to the thought and way of seeing the world of Egyptian man. On the other hand, the more than one hundred texts that make up this anthology are mostly offered for the first time in the Spanish publishing scene in original translation, with the intention that, in addition to making these jewels written from the past accessible to the interested reader, are useful tools for the researcher or student.
