The Buenos Aires Affair

Set between 1930 and 1969, The Buenos Aires Affair chronicles the last two days in the life of Leo Druscovich and the enigma of a series of disappearances, false leads and sexual obsessions. As his story progresses, the figure of the detective will give way to the psychoanalyst and the search to unravel a crime will become a way of reviewing the national situation. The violence on individual bodies and on the social body, official lies and family secrets interweave a web of seduction, psychoanalysis and fascism.
