Jade is the daughter of the Halgboots, one of the most important races of Marked warriors, descendants of ancient gods who fought against the demons that tried to dominate the world after opening a Rift to the abyss. She knows, since she was a child, that her destiny is to become the wife of the future King and thus ensure the power of her race over all the others with whom they are forced to live.
