Un món sense l'Oriol Gante
Cuartiella, M. Mercè
Oriol Gante died in hospital on February 12, 2010 due to a car accident. He leaves behind a daughter, ex-wife and new partner, father and stepmother, uncle and friends. It was too early for him to disappear: he was only forty-four years old and had many things left to do. He was "a lucky guy until the last day he was killed," as one of his friends recalls. Ten years later, his absence still marks the lives of those close to him, in various ways and with varying intensity, with longing or with the will to follow the course of their existences. But this is not the only way to imagine a world without Oriol Ghent and, with a prose rich in nuances, the novel raises how our life is more dispensable than we might think.
