Un siglo de resistencia en Palestina
historias de solidaridad y activismo
Blanco Fernández, Txus
They came from Palestine in the 1960s, organized around the Union of Palestinian Students, contributed a different narrative from the one imposed by the Zionist narrative, and founded the Palestinian Community of Catalonia. Years later, they created what we know today as the Solidarity Movement with Palestine in Catalonia. They are activists, largely women, groups and organizations that, from internationalism, non-violence and feminism, work with the common objective of defending the human rights and freedom of the Palestinian people. This book has been written based on the testimonies of the people who have formed and are part of that movement in Catalonia to value their political commitment, their illusions and explain how the "long road to freedom" of the Palestinian people, the same that years ago was the fight against apartheid in South Africa, is one of the key issues to combat racism on a global scale.
