Vuelo nocturno a París
Gilman, David
It is 1943. The swastika flies over Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower. Soldiers dressed in gray patrol the streets. The buildings have been renamed; books, prohibited; art, stolen ... and people disappear. In reality, the French capital is at war with its mass. Informants, maquis, collaborators and resisters watch each other as much as the Germans. And these last are the first traitors: The Gestapo and the Abwehr are locked in their own internal battle to lead the invasion. Meanwhile, the British Special Operations Executive tries to find out what happened to the cell sent to the city and, for this, they recruit Harry Mitchell, who is forced to return to the city from which he fled two years ago, leaving behind his wife and daughter. Mitchell knows that Paris is busy and that every step that brings him closer to her is one step closer to a sure trap. You know the risks, but you have good reason to risk your life. However, returning to Paris is a death sentence.
