Ya calló la lluvia
Boisha, Limam
In "Ya calló la lluvia" Limam Boisha offers us an intimate testimony of what are the memories of his home in the Sahara, of what his exile has been like, of the collective memory of the Saharawi people and also of his hope of returning to the land where he was born. The Sahrawis brought with them what no one could steal from them: their memory, their history, their poetry, their beliefs, their customs, their games and their rites; everything that the guards of a border cannot seize or confiscate. Boisha evokes them thanks to the beauty of his verses, which are accompanied by the pictorial work of the Saharawi artist Mohamed Moulud Yeslem.
