Zugunruhe is much more than the story of a trip to the coldest regions of the planet. It is a physical journey, of movement from one point to another, or from one point to many points, but it is also a journey through time, towards the past memories of youth, the author's relationship with her father. , of how this one instilled in him the northern deria, and towards the present, through Jan, his young son of seventeen years, and the present trip.
