Borgia, Emanuela

Emanuela Borgia is Associate Professor of Classical Archaeology and Archaeology of the Roman Provinces in the Dipartimento di Scienze dell’Antichità, Sapienza Università di Roma. She is the author of many scientific papers and of a book on the colonnaded streets of Cilicia. Since 2020 she has directed the archaeological excavation of the late Roman and Early Medieval Necropolis of Castel Sozzio (Viterbo, Italy) and is the coordinator of national and international projects in Italy, Great Britain, Turkey and Egypt.
