Ikawa-Smith, Fumiko

Born in Japan, Fumiko Ikawa-Smith began her study of Anthropology in the USA as a Fulbright exchange student at Harvard University. She received doctorate in 1974 with a dissertation on the Early Palaeolithic cultures of Japan.
