Jones, Alex

Alex Jones is an independent archaeological practitioner with a particular interest in the archaeology of the west midlands. Over the last 36 years he has directed excavations at Metchley Roman forts, Birmingham; one of the most extensively excavated Roman military complexes in the midlands.
