Martins, Patrícia Fragoso

Patrícia Fragoso Martins é Professora Auxiliar da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, instituição onde se licenciou (1996), obteve o grau de Mestre (2011), e mais tarde de Doutora em Direito (2013) em Direito da União Europeia, no âmbito da Católica Global School of Law. É ainda investigadora do Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law. Tem um LL.M em Direito da União Europeia no King's College London School of Law (2010) e foi Visiting Researcher Fellow na Columbia University School of Law, em Nova Iorque (2007/2008). Lecciona e investiga nas áreas do Direito da União Europeia, Direito Internacional, Direitos Fundamentais, e Método do Caso. Esteve associada ao lançamento do Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law como membro do Conselho de Coordenação e Administradora Executiva e foi Coordenadora do Centro de Arbitragem da Universidade Católica. Foi ainda consultora do Gabinete de Política Legislativa e Planeamento para as áreas do Direito Público, Europeu e Internacional (2006/2007). Desde 2013, é consultora da sociedade de advogados Campos Ferreira, Sá Carneiro e Associados, responsável pela área de prática de Europeu e Concorrência, tendo em 2015 assumido o lugar de membro suplente do conselho de administração da Agência Europeia dos Direitos Fundamentais.<br /><br><br />Patrícia Fragoso Martins is Lecturer at Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Lisbon, where she originally graduated (2001), later obtained a M. Phil. (2011), and a Ph.D. (2013) in European Union Law (Católica Global School of Law). She is also a researcher at the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law. In addition, she holds an LL.M from King's College London School of Law in European Union Law (2010) and has been a Visiting Research Fellow at Columbia University School of Law in New York (2007/2008). Currently she teaches several courses focusing mostly in European and International Law and Case Method, and has developed her academic research in these areas. She has been closely associated with the launching of the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law as Member of the Coordination Commission and as Executive Director, and she has worked as Executive Coordinator of the Arbitration Centre at Catholic University. She worked as a lawyer and a legal adviser for the Portuguese Government in the fields of Public, European and International Law (2006/2007). In 2013 she became the lawyer responsible for the European and Competition Law practice at Campos Ferreira, Sá Carneiro e Associados. In July 2015, she became the alternate member of the Management Board of the European Fundamental Rights Agency.
