From 2012 to 2015, a team of scholars under the auspices of Groningen University excavated at Tell Abu Sarbut in the Eastern Jordan Valley. They uncovered Early Roman, Early Islamic and Middle Islamic remains. The publication includes studies on architecture, pottery and other finds, as well as the occupational history of the site.

Entre 2012 y 2015, un equipo de investigadores de la Universidad de Groninga excavó en Tell Abu Sarbut, en el valle oriental del Jordán. Descubrieron restos romanos primitivos, islámicos primitivos e islámicos medios. La publicación incluye estudios sobre arquitectura, cerámica y otros hallazgos, así como sobre la historia ocupacional del yacimiento.
