In prehistoric societies children comprised 40-65% of the population, yet by default, our ancestral landscapes are peopled by adults who hunt, gather, fish, knap tools and make art. But these adults were also parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who had to make space physically, emotionally, intellectually and cognitively for the infants, children and adolescents around them.

En las sociedades prehistóricas, los niños constituían entre el 40% y el 65% de la población, pero, por defecto, nuestros paisajes ancestrales están poblados por adultos que cazan, recolectan, pescan, fabrican herramientas y hacen arte. Pero estos adultos también eran padres, abuelos, tíos y tías que tenían que hacer sitio física, emocional, intelectual y cognitivamente a los bebés, niños y adolescentes que les rodeaban.
