The exhibition Pharao's Reeds, a papyrus journey up the Nile - organized by the IEMed to be held in Barcelona between 20th April and 25th September 2016 - is not only the result of the work immediately prior to the selection of pieces, the writing of this catalogue, the preparation of the papyri for shipping, their placement and the design of the exhibition in the hall.
It has the decisive intention of sharing the work that not only we but the whole international papyrological community have been undertaking to open doors and windows to look out onto this surprisingly vibrant world so that the city and the public, who are the final inheritors of this precious heritage, can share it with them.
