Roman Baths of São Pedro do Sul

Between the summer of 2017 and the winter of 2019, renovation works were carried out on the Roman Baths of São Pedro do Sul, a project by architect João Mendes Ribeiro and landscape architect João Gomes da Silva. This book was produced during that period, and now provides a record and reminder of the intervention carried out. Professor Jorge de Alarcão reflects on the Roman ruins, archaeologist Marcelo Mendes Pinto writes about the building’s history, Nuno Miguel Borges interviews the architects, João Mendes Ribeiro designs the project and José Pedro Cortes photographs the renovations of the Roman baths building.
