Yamato can't take it anymore. The jealousy, the possessiveness, the desire for him to be more than just Kakeru's best friend... are eating him up inside. But he is afraid of losing his partner if he confesses the truth: he has been in love with him forever. After seeing what appears, at first glance, to be a date between Kakeru and Akane, Yamato lets himself go and hugs Kakeru, creating an awkward moment between them and causing them to grow further apart.
