This book, dedicated to the residential work of Andrés Escobar, approaches his work from the conceptual perspective of introspective luxury—understood as the construction of the exceptional within the material, environmental, landscape, and linguistic conditions of the architectural project in a specific place and at a given time. Since AE’s work does not end with architectural design but extends into the creation of exterior spaces in collaboration with Perimetral, this pairing of Architecture and landscape is condensed in the critical observation of his work. In other words, the book takes a look at AE’s residential work—through architectural and landscape design—in a constant search for the creation of intimate anthropic paradises that place life within a space of beauty.
